Use of Daily Behavior Report Card in an Elementary School Classroom Melvin C. Thomas, National University, Bakersfield
********** CANCELLED by presenter **********
One of the barriers to successful education is managing classroom behavior. One strategy for managing classroom behavior is the use of a daily behavior report card (DBRC). Although it has been studied extensively with special populations, there is less empirical research on its use with typically developing students who may only be engaging in moderately disruptive behaviors. This study examined the effects of a DBRC on such behaviors of a second grade student. Results showed that the DBRC was ineffective in decreasing disruptive behaviors in the classroom.
