Save $$ by serving as a student volunteer at the 2011 conference. Here's how:
Register online in advance, and submit the
volunteer application form which is available as part of the online registration process for student members
(you will need the name and email address of a faculty member or administrator who can verify your student status).
Work 2 shifts (1/2 day each) at the conference and receive a full refund of the registration fee.
Work 1 shift (1/2 day) at the conference and receive a refund of 1/2 of the registration fee.
Volunteer duties may include:
Ticket taking
Room monitoring
Sign in/sign out for continuing education events
Distributing handouts
Assisting at the registration desk
Providing assistance with audio-visual equipment
Providing other assistance as needed
NOTE: The number of shifts available is limited. Priority
is given on a first come, first served basis to students who are pre-registered for the conference,
including verification of student status. All volunteers must attend a short orientation meeting
prior to the start of their first assigned shift, and must check in and out for each shift.
