Come to an AB 1205 Advocacy Training this May!
For the next two weeks, we URGENTLY need your help to make sure AB 1205 passes out of the Assembly Appropriations
Committee. Click here to find out how you can help.
If we can successfully pass AB 1205 from the Assembly Appropriations Committee, the full 80-member
Assembly will vote on The Behavior Analyst Licensure Bill in June.
This bill will strengthen the ABA profession and make therapy based on ABA more accessible to everyone who needs it.
It is a vital step forward for the field, but will only become a reality with the active support of everyone in the ABA community.
That's why CalABA is organizing AB 1205 Advocacy Trainings all across the state throughout the month of May in order
to prepare for the June vote. (See below for dates, times, and locations.)
These trainings will give you an opportunity to learn more about the bill and to join the grassroots
movement to protect ABA. Each training will last approximately 2 hours and will be open to EVERYONE who
wants to come — professionals, parents, academics, students, and other allies.
Because of our community's small size, your participation at these events will be especially important.

our Campaign Coordinator Eric Ritter at eritter@calaba.org and we will work to organize one as soon as possible.
