Update: 3 days left to get AB 1205 out of Committee

On Tuesday May 24th, Assembly Member Felipe Fuentes, Chair of the Assembly Appropriations Committee, will be releasing a list of the bills that will move forward to a vote in the full Assembly. If AB 1205 isn't on that list, we may have to wait another year before it can move forward.

It only takes a couple of minutes to help:

  1. Visit the Action Center at our new Protect ABA website.

  2. Use the script and guidelines on the Protect ABA website to help you call your elected official. Ask them to ask Assembly Member Felipe Fuentes to allow AB 1205 to advance to the full Assembly. He needs to know that it is revenue neutral and that it would not be implemented until the year 2015.

  3. Brainstorm five other people who support licensure for behavior analysts: parents, colleagues, students, teachers, health professionals, school district employees, etc. Send them this email and ask them to get involved as well.

Every phone call will make a difference.
