Job Description + Responsibilities

Center-Based and/or School-Based ABA Behavior Technician

*we will eventually also be providing services to children and their families in homes and the community.

Full-time, Part-time and On-Call work schedules available

Responsibilities:

• Provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment (including positive behavior supports and intervention strategies) to individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, and/or other behavioral health diagnoses and their caregivers.

• Works collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and implements clinical treatment and behavior support plans.

• Works with individuals and/or caregivers in a variety of settings including homes, community, and other environments.

This is a Career Ladder Position: This position is available as a development plan/career ladder to work towards promotion into ABA Behavior Technician within designated length of time based upon performance and contingent upon your ability to satisfy all position requirements. Compensation changes associated with this promotion will be determined through the Agency’s compensation processes, policies and pay ranges in effect at the time of the promotion. Additionally, this promotion will be available without further posting or competition for the position.

ABA Associate Behavior Technician (Entry Level):

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED

• One (1) year related experience preferred

• Must pass Department of Justice (DOJ), Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), and Child Abuse Index Check (CAIC) background clearance, applicable.

• Valid California Driver's license with two years’ experience driving and clean driving record may be required.

Salary Range: $17.75 - $ 24.76

Actual offers will be determined by the candidate’s creditable years of experience in conjunction with internal equity considerations and based on the organization’s current compensation practices.

ABA Behavior Technician

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree required.

• One (1) years experience working with individuals with autism, developmental disabilities or other behavioral health diagnoses

• Must pass Department of Justice (DOJ), Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), and Child Abuse Index Check (CAIC) background clearance, applicable.

• Valid California Driver's license with two years’ experience driving and clean driving record may be required.

Salary Range: $20.33 - $ 28.46

Actual offers will be determined by the candidate’s creditable years of experience in conjunction with internal equity considerations and based on the organization’s current compensation practices.
