Are you a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and their families? If this sounds like you- come join our team! MAPSS is a locally owned behavioral therapy agency that specializes in ABA services for children with autism. We are currently looking for a full-time Behavior Analyst to provide leadership, direction, and support to our organization. The Behavior Analyst will provide services to MAPSS clients within Kern County including Bakersfield and surrounding areas. We are looking for an individual who is motivated, positive, and who works well as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Job Description + Responsibilities

Specific duties of the Behavior Analyst will include (but are not limited to): conducting and writing MAPSS functional behavioral assessments (FBAs), writing and reporting on consumer progress and services, reviewing and editing clinical team documentation (e.g., assessments, progress reports), coaching and training staff on implementation of program plans, evaluating the consistency and accuracy of implemented behavioral strategies, supervising clinical management by addressing their caseload implementations, participating in clinical team meetings, assisting with and providing in-service trainings, providing hands-on training with direct care and management staff at the office or consumer's service location, providing public training, traveling to client’s location when assigned, and developing collaborative and positive working relationships with clients, family members, and other stakeholders.

Salary is competitive and negotiable depending upon qualifications and experience. Benefits include health and dental insurance, life insurance, supplemental insurance, retirement, sick pay, and paid time off after probationary requirements are met. Travel time to client's homes and per diems will be paid (limits apply). Schedule is negotiable so long as it reflects availability requirements

Other Requirements

Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing and a Masters Degree or higher in a related field is required. Must have the ability to pass a DOJ background clearance and pass a TB test. A reliable form of transportation with proof of current insurance is required. Must have the ability to work 7-8 hours between 8:30a.m.-7:00 p.m. Monday-Friday. Prior experience working in home, community, and school environments is preferred. Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus but not required.
