We need you to join us! Fred Finch Youth and Family Services (Fred Finch) provides support to young people and special needs youth facing multiple challenges. Our Specialized Residential programs offer therapy, behavioral, educational and other support services to teens who are dually diagnosed with mental health and intellectual disabilities and/or autism. We have a short term crisis home and a longer term treatment program on the Oakland campus. Youth in these unique programs have the support of on-site staff 24-7.

Position: Full time Behavior Analyst position at our Oakland location.

Job Responsibilities

Join the specialized residential programs and non-public school as we diligently provide residential trauma informed treatment for youth ages 8-18 years old diagnosed with mental health disorders, intellectual disabilities, Autism and co-occurring traumas. Help us in our efforts to support families in formulating healthy relationships and healing processes through therapy. The Behavior Analyst is responsible for the overall behavioral management component of the participants or program, including training treatment team members on the behavioral aspects of the participants’ treatment. The Behavior Analyst is part of a multidisciplinary team that provides behavioral support and interventions in a school, residential, or community setting with the goal of stabilization.

Required Qualifications

MA/MS degree and Registered with the Board of Behavioral Science (BBS), Board of Psychology (BOP), or Registered with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) (or able to obtain registered status within first six (6) months after hire).

At least one year of experience providing behavioral services, preferably with program’s target population.Demonstrated understanding of the developmental milestones of children, youth, or young adults.

Background in behavioral analysis. Experience with or knowledge of designing, supervising, monitoring, changing, and discontinuing individualized behavioral interventions.
