Since 1980, CNS has provided post-acute medical treatment, rehabilitation and disease management, and offers residential, inpatient, outpatient and assisted living programs. Locations include Bakersfield, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston and Austin.

Our facilities have been honored many times by the prestigious Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF International) for excellence in therapeutic programs, staff education, patient treatment, and leadership. Centre for Neuro Skills (CNS) helps people with brain injury find hope, independence and a meaningful life - and you can play a key role in that journey as a Behavior Program Coordinator.

Work is full time during the weekdays (7:30am - 4:30pm) and may require some on-call work. Work is performed primarily at the clinic, the residential site, and minimal time in the community. The residential site may be a home and/or an apartment complex which may have two stories; if two stories, the top story is accessible by one flight of stairs.

A high degree of accuracy in documentation and observation, adaptability to a variety of situations, strong organizational and communication skills, decision making and an ability to evaluate situations as they occur is needed for this position.

Job Description + Responsibilities

PREFERRED DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS

Performs on-call duties as needed.

Conducts patient evaluations when needed.

Transports patients as needed requiring transferring and driving abilities.

Performs other duties as assigned.

SPECIAL SKILLS UTILIZED, EDUCATION LEVEL, TRAINING

Master’s degree preferred or Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent rehabilitation experience required.

BCaBA or BCBA eligibility for certification or in process.

Working knowledge of rehabilitative care required.

Prior experience as Neuro Rehabilitation Specialist, Supervisor, Residential Treatment Coordinator, etc. preferred.
