Job Description + Responsibilities

Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy services as prescribed by and under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for children on the autism spectrum in home, school, and community settings.

Implement clients' ABA treatment plans as prescribed.

Safely manage and respond to challenging behaviors including aggression, tantrums, non-compliance, or other behavioral challenges according to the prescribed behavior plan.

Accurately input behavior data as prescribed by the BCBA.

Maintain courtesy, professional relationships with parents, teachers, other service providers, and caregivers.

Maintain reliable transportation and be willing to travel to either Milpitas, Fremont, Union City, and/or San Ramon.

Position / Certification supervising this position

All ABA staff are supervised by a BCBA in good standing.

$13 - $25/hr commensurate with experience

Other Requirements

Qualifications:

B.A., B.S or nearing Bachelor's completion in psychology, education, social services or related field.

Valid CA driver's license and current car insurance.

Current TB test.

Willing to have a comprehensive background check performed prior to being out in the field.

Current CPR certification (preferred)

RBT credential (highly preferred but not necessary)

Previous training in ABA principles, procedures, and implementation (preferred but not necessary).
