Discover Hope is currently looking for BCBA's interested in becoming a Program Director for our South Bay Region (Campbell, Cupertino, Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, and San Jose). We sub-contract with Easter Seals to provide in-home ABA services to kiddos 18 months to 18 years.

Job Description + Responsibilities

The Program Director position is perfect for a recent BCBA looking to receive great training and mentorship. The Program Director provides mid level supervision on some cases, and is trained to provide high level supervision on cases. The position is designed to train a new BCBA to provide high level supervision by gradually increasing the high level caseload. The Program Director is on track to be promoted to a Clinical Director, who provides the high level supervision to each clinical case.

Provide Parent training

Conduct assessments to determine client eligibility and recommendation for services

Oversee clinical programming, targets, and goals for a caseload of clients

Provide supervision to the 2nd and 3rd tier (Program Supervisor and Behavior Therapist) regarding appropriate teaching strategies, behavior management strategies, and parent training

Oversee the Program Supervisor in conducting ongoing assessments and updating client goals

Other Requirements

You must have a BCBA or be a licensed individual with ABA experience.

You must like laughing and having fun. You MUST like having co-workers that are slightly weird (in a good way).

You must be a person of integrity.

You must be a people person, love working with kids, must be able to take initiative and work independently.

You must be able to learn quickly and accept feedback.

You must have reliable transportation and a clean driving record.

You must be able to pass a detailed background check.

You must be able to sit on the floor, squat, kneel, run around, and lift materials.

Bilingual a plus.
