Job Description + Responsibilities

Please note this position is not remote/virtual and requires client services to be provided in person. Although, driving your own car is not necessary. Public transportation is welcome. Both transportation by car or public transportation will be reimbursed.**


Primary Responsibilities


  • Oversight and management of 1:1 home or school-based intensive behavioral therapy
  • Design individualized lessons and behavior plans that target the developmental needs of the client, and directly serve to reduce/replace any challenging behavior exhibited by the client
  • Ensure that the program utilizes evidence-based teaching strategies including but not limited to discrete trial teaching, natural environment training, incidental teaching, pivotal response training, and verbal behavior
  • Facilitate social skills training
  • Monitor the child's progress and graphs to ensure progress is occurring, and intervene when the data path is stagnant or variable
  • Update binder and data sheets as needed to ensure all staff are carrying out the program as designed
  • Communicate with team and family regarding the child's progress/behaviors and any intervention modifications
  • Attend team meetings (once per month per child), as well as internal and external professional workshops
  • Work collaboratively with teammates, parents, and other professionals
  • Complete required progress reports as outlined by reporting dates document
  • Maintain agreed upon schedule for the child, arrive to scheduled sessions in a timely manner, and notify families of any schedule changes when necessary
  • Maintain client confidentiality
  • Communicate and collaborate with other Behavior Analysts on an as-needed basis to ensure continuity across programs, staff development, and program quality
  • Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications


  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) license required!
  • Master's degree required (Education, Psychology, or related field)
  • Minimum of 2 years experience working in the field of ABA, designing programs and overseeing individuals
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication
  • Ability to keep organized with meticulous attention to detail
  • Collaborative, team player mentality
  • Employment conditional upon satisfactory background check
