Please read the full Know Before You Go document here.
Our registration website is planned to go live in October.
When you pay the CE Unit fee, you get as many CE Units as you can stand on Friday and Saturday. You do not need to sign up in advance for CE Units for Friday and Saturday – just attend what you want to attend and obtain your CE Units on the spot. You do need to pay extra money to attend the Sunday workshops which offer additional CE Units. When you register, you will have the opportunity to read about each of the workshops, select and pay for the ones you want to attend. When you register, don’t forget to put your BCBA number in!
There is a link in the confirmation email for registration modification. Pull up that email, click on registration modification and modify your registration.
The new mailing address is:
CalABA - 6114 La Salle Ave., No. 326
Oakland, CA 94611
please email Valerie Franzen at [email protected]. She manages all things related to our sponsors and exhibitors.
Unfortunately, CALABA does not accept purchase orders. We accept payment via credit card or check.
San Jose, SJC, flysanjose.com is the closest and easiest. If you can book there, I’d recommend it. However, the flight options can sometimes be more limited than other larger airports, so if you can’t find a good option into SJC, you can fly into Oakland, OAK, oaklandairport.com or San Francisco, SFO, flysfo.com
Please email [email protected] and they will help with this request. Be sure to provide your full name, BCBA number and the dates of the conference(s) you need information for.
Yes, we can help. Email [email protected] with the specific information and we will work to refund your money as appropriate.
You can find a full list of invited speakers on our conference website at:
We have a conference hotel, Hyatt Regency Santa Clara. Find more information on our conference website. If this hotel is sold out, there will be overflow hotels to choose from – email [email protected]. if the rooms are sold out and you need to access information about the overflow hotels.
The App will be available at least 2 weeks before the conference. If you are registered, you will receive specific information about how to download it when it is ready.
This information is current as of Friday, January 28, 2022, but may be updated closer to the conference as conditions change. Currently Santa Clara County requires wearing a well-fitting mask indoors in public and non-public indoor settings, regardless of their vaccination status, which includes all CalABA conference events. You may remove your mask while actively eating or drinking, but please put it back on when finished.
CalABA is facilitating measures that seek to ensure optimal health and sanitary conditions in all environments where in-person interactions take place during the conference. To assist in ensuring the safety of all attendees and exhibitors CalABA will be requiring all attendees and exhibit booth personnel to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to their attendance. In cases where an attendee or exhibitor has a valid medical or religious exemption, a negative PCR COVID-19 test within 48 hours of arrival to the convention center will be required. In addition, all attendees and exhibitor booth personnel will be required to wear a mask while in the convention center and, Exhibit Hall except when eating, drinking, or presenting. CalABA is relying on the diligence of our membership in making these requests and appreciates your cooperation to ensure a safe (and long overdue!) experience for our community. When you attend the conference, you will also notice that seating will be farther apart to allow physical distancing. The Santa Clara Hyatt and Santa Clara Convention Center have complete lists of their updated COVID-19 protocols and practices here.
We will continue to closely monitor all guidelines and regulations and will update these safety protocols as appropriate. Attendees, staff, exhibitors, exhibitor appointed contractors, vendors and members of the labor force should stay home if they have tested positive for COVID-19, are waiting for their COVID-19 test results, have COVID-19 symptoms, or if they have been in close contact with a person who has tested positive for or who has symptoms of COVID-19.
Testing must be conducted within one day for an antigen test and within two days for a PCR test prior to entry into an event. Per County guidance and Santa Clara Convention Center policy medical exemptions will be accepted only when accompanied by proof signed by a medical doctor. Religious exemptions are not acceptable without prior written consent from the Convention Center.
