Job Description + Responsibilities

Merakey is currently seeking a BCaBA or BCBA to join our IDD division in our Enhanced Behavior Support Homes (EBSH) program in Escondido, CA.

This is a flexible fee for service position offering up to 20 hours per week with potential for more hours (if desired) as the program continues to grow.

The primary responsibility of our fee for service BCBA or BCaBA will be to supervise RBT staff.

POSITION DETAILS

• The BCaBA primarily provides the required Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) supervision to staff on an ongoing basis as assigned.

• This position may also, under the supervision of a Qualified Behavior Modification Professional/BCBA be responsible for efficient and appropriate individual behavior support activities, as assigned or identified as appropriate.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• BCBA: Master’s Degree and current BCBA certification

• BCaBA: Bachelor’s Degree and BCaBA certification required

• Minimum of 1 year of experience with adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities (IDD) in a residential setting required

• Experience supervising Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) is required

• Must have a valid driver's license & reliable transportation

• Local travel required
