ABA in Action is a locally owned, private ABA services provider in the Sacramento Area. We provide in-home ABA services, allowing children to receive quality care in their natural environment. ABA in Action offers clients and their families the support and tools needed to allow children the opportunity to reach their full potential as they continue to grow. Our programs are evidence-based and individualized to the client to ensure that each child’s specific skill deficits are met.

Job Description + Responsibilities

This is an immediate opening for a unique position as a combined BCBA for our in-home program and coordinator for our highly successful RBT training program.

ABA in Action Inc. provides in-home behavior therapy to children 2-18 years old in the greater Sacramento area. We provide on-going support and training along with many professional growth opportunities. Best of all, we have manageable caseloads that ensure quality treatment and job satisfaction! Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Coordinate, deliver and oversee RBT training program with support of consultants and other BCBA’s.

Develop comprehensive programs for clients in the areas of communication, social skills and daily living skills.

Oversee program implementation.

Provide training and feedback to behavior technicians regarding program implementation.

Collaborate with supervisor regarding program development and concerns.

Make data-based decisions to adjust/modify programming.

Collaborate with other service providers.

Assist with development and oversight of Behavior Support Plan and Treatment Plan.

Write and maintain progress reports, lesson plans, materials and data sheets as necessary.

Qualifications:

• BCBA certification with minimum MA or MS in psychology, education or related field

• Experience supervising registered behavior technicians and working closely with ABA staff

Requirements:

• Pass DOJ background clearance, negative TB test, proof of all vaccinations and current CPR certification required

• Clear communication skills, both written and verbal

• Valid California driver’s license

• Overseeing program implementation

• Providing training and feedback to behavior technicians regarding program implementation
