Job Description + Responsibilities

We're looking for a full-time BCBA to join our fantastic team. This position will oversee ABA therapy programs for children with autism, providing ongoing staff training and program supervision, parent training, and collaboration with other service providers, teachers, etc.

We’re seeking an experienced leader who wants to grow with us and shares our values – implementing ethically-sound ABA programs based on best practices to achieve great outcomes for children with autism.

Job Responsibilities:

-Manage the clinical aspects of ABA programs for children with autism ages 2 to 18.

-Supervision may be conducted both on site and from your preferred remote office, as applicable. We’ll provide a company MacBook, cell phone, and the necessary software to keep you connected.

-Supervise BCBA and RBT candidates pursuing certification.

-Provide ongoing staff training and program supervision.

-Lead team meetings.

-Prescribe 1:1 ABA treatment plans (behavior modification plans) for primarily home-based services, with some community- and school-based programs.

-Support clinical staff in safely managing and responding to challenging behaviors, according to the behavior plan.

-Provide initial and ongoing parent training and education. Their engagement is the key to our clients’ ultimate success.

-Meet deadlines and provide accurate data to allow timely completion and submission of reports, assessments, FBAs, etc.

-Collaborate and maintain courteous professional relationships with staff, other service providers, any significant adults on clients’ care teams, and funding sources.

Salary, Benefits, + Opportunities

Up to $110,000/yr salary (commensurate with experience, proficiency)

Up to $3,000 bonus at signing or relocation stipend (based on experience)

Other Requirements

Current BCBA in good standing

Master’s degree.

3+ years’ experience working with children diagnosed with autism.

Rigorous adherence to ABA principles and procedures. Exhibit depth of understanding.

Ability to teach others in the implementation of ABA principles and procedures. (We are exclusively, enthusiastically ABA, not an “eclectic” practice.)

Eligible to supervise employees pursuing their BCBA or RBT.

Commitment to clients’ privacy. We provide HIPAA-compliant cloud-based filing and records management tools.

Great writing and communication skills. Detail-oriented. Courteous.

Willingness to drive to clients’ homes or schools in the East Bay.

Valid CA driver’s license. Maintain current car insurance and reliable transportation.

Current TB test.

Willingness to have comprehensive background check conducted. Pass LiveScan background check.

CAQH # and NPI #

Current CPR certification (not required, but it would be nice).

Physical requirements: Lift 50 lbs. Comfortable sitting on the floor for client work.

Legally eligible to work in the United States.
