Job Description + Responsibilities

May Institute’s Consulting Services division is seeking a Behavior Technician - BCBA to provide services to families in the Sacramento, CA area. As a member of our consulting team, you will develop and implement individualized treatment strategies for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders. Services will take place in the natural context of the child’s home, school, or other community setting.

Other Requirements

Responsibilities:

Completing functional behavioral assessments

Completing skills assessments

Developing and monitoring behavior support plans and individualized treatment plans

Analyzing data

Providing training to staff and parents/teachers

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Psychology, Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related field

BCBA certification; BCBA eligible candidates are encouraged to apply

Strong analytical skills

Ability to communicate effectively within a variety of situations

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent time management skills
