BECA, a California regional center vendor and certified by the California Department of Education as a non-public agency, was established in 1999 to help meet the ongoing demand for accessible, high-quality, ABA services for children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD), ages 12 months through 22 years, and their families. Our service areas currently include greater Los Angeles and Sacramento, with services soon becoming available to additional cities, states, and countries. Our mission is to help children become more fully integrated into their family, school and community environments. We pride ourselves in the unique comprehensiveness that our team of UCLA-trained directors, Board Certified Behavior Analysts, and clinical psychologists offer to our clients, who deserve no less than the most carefully designed intensive behavioral education services.

Job Description + Responsibilities

BECA Behavior Analysts are responsible for meeting with new clients and their families, conducting behavioral and skills assessments, and developing behavior intervention and treatment plans. The Behavior Analyst will work with the team of clinicians at BECA to provide the highest quality clinical care and will be responsible for development and ongoing monitoring of skill acquisition programs and behavior plans, directly training team members (parents, school personnel, BECA Behavior Technicians) in all aspects of the program to ensure treatment integrity.

Qualifications for Behavior Analyst Requirements:1. Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience working with children/adolescents diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder or a related developmental disability

Must be able to work well as part of a team

Desired Experience:1. Extensive knowledge of behavior reduction and skill acquisition procedures.

Skilled with DTT and incidental teaching procedures.

Experience conducting preference assessments, skills assessments and functional behavior assessments

Experience in goal development and report writing.

Experience with conducting training and supervision, for both in-house personnel and other professionals.
