Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health California is a thriving treatment facility offering residential and adult vocational or day activity programs to individuals ages 18-85 with multiple diagnoses such as, autistic spectrum disorders, emotional and/or behavioral disorders, mental disorders, dementia and other cognitive disorders, mental retardation, developmental disabilities, and medical conditions.

As our California team grows, we’re looking for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team in Santa Barbara. This position can be part-time or full-time with flexible hours, and will provide behavioral support services to individuals under our care in Santa Barbara. This role is ideal for someone experienced in developing and implementing behavioral support plans for ages 18-85 with multiple diagnoses (ASD, emotional/behavioral disorders, dementia, DD), and experience using functional behavioral assessments and writing Positive Behavior Support plans.

Other Requirements

Education: Masters degree and/or Ph.D./PsyD in Psychology, Applied Behavioral Analysis or related field and BCBA certification required.

Experience: A minimum of two years of experience designing and implementing behavior modification intervention services is preferred.Must have strong applied behavior analysis skills and significant experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities and/or autism spectrum disorders. Significant experience writing Positive Behavior support plans and conducting FBAs, and training staff also required. Requires excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficient computer skills and mastery of Microsoft Office applications. Valid driver’s license must be maintained.
