Job Description + Responsibilities

The Columbus Organization is expanding its team of Behavior Analysts in Bakersfield, CA. Immediate opening for a BCBA in community based outpatient setting.

Columbus offers a highly competitive salary plus a $2000 sign-on bonus complimented by a full, comprehensive benefits package which includes: medical insurance, prescription card, vision plan, dental insurance, $50,000 life insurance, liability insurance, 401k retirement plan with employer contribution, short/long term disability, $1000 annual continuing education allowance, reimbursement for licensure/certification and relocation assistance if needed. Monday – Friday work week.

Job Responsibilities:

The position is responsible for planning, developing and monitoring a variety of behavioral support service delivery options to meet the needs of developmental disabled individuals. The BCBA will consult with coworkers, vendors and clients family members regarding pro-active, educational, programming, and behavioral supports, develops and implements comprehensive treatment plans; and collaborates with team members, related services providers, families and other agencies as appropriate.

Job Requirements:

• Licensed as Board Certified Behavior Analyst

• Masters degree in psychology, education, counseling, behavior science, human development, social work, applied behavior analysis or related field

• Two (2) years of experience working with developmentally disabled individuals

• Bilingual in English//Spanish preferred, but not required.
