The California Autism Center and Learning Group (CACLG) is a local company based in Fresno, California with growing operations seeking to expand ABA services in the Central Valley. Our center-based program offers whole family support the extend past the center-based environment, to including parent seminars and communication education. Our team is diverse and dedicated to creating a blend of all empirically validated treatments for our clients.

Job Description + Responsibilities

CACLG is seeking qualified Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs and BCBA-Ds) to fill our Case Manager position. Case Managers design, supervise, and implement ABA treatment programs for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Case Managers are responsible for training and supervision of direct care staff to ensure effective implementation of all behavior intervention plans, as well as all relevant policies and procedures. The Case Manager is responsible for adhering to professional, ethical and legal requirements. A Case Manager must also collaborate with family members, caregivers, school officials, and any other service providers to ensure continuity of care.

Specific Case Manager duties include:

Ensure ongoing data collection and analysis to inform appropriate program changes

Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments on clients who are engaging in maladaptive behaviors

Manage initial and ongoing skills assessments using standardized tools in accordance with insurance policies

Write initial reports that coincide with skills assessment

Supervise intensive and comprehensive behavioral programs

Provide training and supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Case Assistants

Support, and consultation with parents and care providers

Overlap with staff to ensure treatment fidelity; review client progress skills checklist

Write and revise, as needed, reports for insurance companies

Conduct client observations at the center, home, and school

Demonstrate sound judgment, decision-making, and communication skills with a variety of individuals and groups

Exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality and follow BACB compliance codes and HIPAA regulations

Other Requirements

A Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with a focus in education, psychology, or related field with specialized knowledge of behavioral health and treatment philosophies and professional practices (Required)

Certification in Behavior Analysis required (Required)

At least three (3) years’ experience in evaluation and treatment of children with severe behavioral problems and autism spectrum disorder (Required)

Two or more years’ experience providing staff direction and development in a supervisory role (Required)

Knowledge of early childhood and autism assessment tools and procedures, and thorough understanding of child development, positive behavior support plans and programs, and teaching social interaction and play skills.
