Company Description
The Clinical Director provides support to the Autism Center for Excellence, an after-school socialization program for children ages 8 to 12 who have a diagnosis under Autism Spectrum Disorder. The Clinical Director is responsible for conducting behavioral assessments, which will lay the groundwork for all future work with the client; developing treatment plans for each individual client based on principles of ABA while taking into consideration each client's unique needs; ensuring that all behavioral protocols are followed with good treatment integrity; and upholding all ethical guidelines as laid out by the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB). The Clinical Director also defines intervention methods that are appropriate for the client in order to curtail challenging behavior and reinforce appropriate alternative behavior; is responsible for elements of staff and parent trainings; and is responsible for reviewing documentation and report writing.

Job Description + Responsibilities
1) Administers Program admissions/initial assessments of potential participants
2) Develops Socialization curriculum
3) Monitors skill acquisition of all participants
4) Provides direct supervision of Clinical Supervisors
5) Develops and oversees all behavior intervention plans
6) Integrates existing behavior plans with ACE behavior plans
7) Establishes behavior protocols (e.g., instructional and non-compliant based prompting hierarchies, elopement)
8) Monitors behavior of participants throughout the program
9) Provides initial and ongoing staff training
10) Assists Director with implementation of parent training component of ACE program
11) Serves as liaison with ALTA regional center
12) Interfaces with UCP regarding issues related to insurance
13) Composes, edits and types routine and on-going progress reports for parents, ALTA regional center and insurance agencies regarding participant progress
14) Responds to all correspondence within 48 hours
15) Responsible for staying within budgetary limitations of his/her program
16) Advises Director of any program changes which effect program's daily operations, staff and/or consumers
17) Insures consumer confidentiality is respected by self and others
18) Insures the program is in compliance with Title 17 and Title 22 requirements, its program design and any requirements from funding agency
19) Attends interdisciplinary team meetings as scheduled
20) Facilitates ongoing communication and coordination with outside personnel, consultants, and family members
21) Insures client records including data collection, required program forms, medical records, reporting forms, financial records and any other forms necessary for program accountability are maintained
