Job Description + Responsibilities

As the Program Director for our Santa Cruz Center you will provide ABA services within your community, and help to expand services to clients on our waiting list. We currently offer services to home based clients, and work with multiple school systems to provide ABA services. You will also develop, and supervise a growing team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts, and Behavior Therapists.

In addition, the Program Director will manage the day to day practice of the center, and have oversight of the operating budget, performance metrics and staffing levels.

Our intensive home-based services help children improve communication, social and behavior skills; self-help skills; and learning skills. In addition, in-home therapists provide parent education and training to ensure skills learned are maintained and refined at home.

Summary:

The Program Director is responsible for overall operations, budgets, marketing, and community outreach in the geographic area they support.

Responsibilities:

Ensure quality of care within the program by supervising performance and productivity of staff

Develop operating budgets based on historical performance and estimated future demand

Manage monthly productivity and finances for office

Manage waiting list and caseloads of staff

Coordinate the recruitment of staff, including publicizing open positions, interviewing and selecting staff, and writing employee work performance standards

Maintain a limited consultation caseload

Provide leadership in the coordination of services between the May Center for ABA Services and local service providers including public school systems and local early intervention programs

Participate in marketing, public relations, and fundraising activities as required

Provide program information to interested parties in the format of formal presentations to large and small groups.

Qualifications:

BCBA required

Management/supervisory experience

Experience with budgetary and programmatic decision-making

Strong leadership and organization skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills
