Job Description + Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY

The Advanced Crisis Solutions’ (ACS) Clinical Supervisor (CS) is responsible for all aspects of assessment, treatment, case supervision, and programming for clients throughout the client’s cycle of treatment. The CS will supervise the clinical aspects of the ACS Case Manager’s (CM) role. The CS partners with the CM, the client, and other stakeholders (e.g. primary caregivers, Adult Residential Facilities (ARFs), funding sources, etc.) working towards improving independence, quality of life, and decreasing challenging behavior.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for ensuring quality, timely completion of the following:

*Adherence to ethical standards and guidelines set by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board

(BACB).

*Completion of initial assessments of clients to identify behavioral needs and goals.

*Development of individualized, function-based treatment plans based on the principles of ABA.

*Design and implementation of data collection systems to monitor client progress.

*Regular data analysis to assess the effectiveness of behavior interventions and adjust plans

accordingly.

*Documentation and maintenance of assessment findings, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with regulatory requirements.

*Training caregivers and staff on effective implementation of behavior intervention plans.

*Collaboration with professionals (e.g. psychologists, educators, and therapists) and stakeholders

(e.g. families, caregivers, funding sources, community resources) to provide support and guidance.

*Facilitation of meetings and discussions to ensure coordinated care and effective communication.

Supervision of CMs.

*Other duties as assigned

Travel Required: Tehama & Butte County

Work Schedule: 5 Weekdays (M-F) 9 am – 5 pm

Pay Scale: $90,000+ annual

Other Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

*Active BCBA Certification in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).

*Mastery of all knowledge, skills, and abilities on the BACB’s BCBA Task List

*2+ years experience working in a 2 or 3-tier behavior analytic service model as a BCBA.

*2 years experience working with adults with developmental disabilities

*Successful completion of Professional Crisis Management - Practitioner 2 course provided by ACS

within 60 days of employment

*Successful completion of a comprehensive background check, including criminal history and

employment verification.

*Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

*Successful completion of pre-employment physical examination

*Ability to perform physical tasks related to the position, such as standing, walking, bending, lifting,

etc.

*Ability to work remotely three weeks out of the month and one week out of the month at the ACS

office and in the community.

Preferred Qualifications:

*5+ years experience working in a 2 or 3-tier behavior analytic service model

*Experience working with adults with diagnoses outside of autism.

*Training and experience relating to child development, psychology, and other similar fields of

study

*Previous experience with crisis management programs, interdisciplinary teams, and CA Regional

Centers

Physical Demands:

*Ability to lift and carry between 50-75 pounds

*Extended periods of standing, walking, or sitting

*Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, lunge, crouch, or perform tasks at ground level.

*Pushing or pulling

*Reaching and stretching to access items stored at various heights or distances.

*Reaching overhead to retrieve or store items on shelves or cabinets.

*Physical agility to navigate different types of terrain, stairs, or uneven surfaces.

*Ability to react quickly and move swiftly in emergency situations or during crisis intervention.

*Operating vehicles safely and effectively, which may include driving for extended periods or in

varying weather conditions.

*Loading and unloading vehicles with safety equipment or materials.

*Performing repetitive motions, such as typing, sorting, etc., over extended periods.

*Working in environments with varying temperatures, noise levels, or lighting conditions.

*Exposure to potentially hazardous materials or substances, requiring adherence to safety

protocols.

*Ability to travel to Chico, CA and surrounding areas
