Job Description + Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

The RBT Clinical Program Manager serves in a lead role to develop and implement the RBT & BCBA Supervision program, and provides Applied Behavior Analysis supervision and training to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and clinical staff with a focus on Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) certification supervision as aligned with ESBA’s RBT certification program. The Clinical Program Manager documents training activity and monitors training effectiveness, and ensures the correct implementation and facilitation of organization-wide certification training needed to support professional development across all clinical departments. The Clinical Program Manager also holds a caseload of clients and provides specialized behavioral intervention services and program supervision for children with autism spectrum disorders, and is responsible for the creation and implementation of individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs for each client. This position will require extensive travel across ESBA’s 7 regions.

Clinical Supervision Program Development

Designs, develops and implements newly established RBT & BCBA Supervision program in collaboration with Clinical Programs leadership team

Oversees all RBT, BCaBA, BCBA supervision provided across all regions and coordinates with managers to ensure consistent supervision

Recruits and manages a team of RBT Supervisors

Practitioner Supervision

Conducts supervision for RBT, BCaBA and BCBA candidates as assigned

Provides coaching, modeling, and demonstration of specific strategies and/or activities to identified clinical staff members.

Models skills throughout ongoing training, regularly articulating the connection between the demonstration and specific content from ESBA’s RBT Training Program and ESBA’s Clinical Services Standards.

Tracks the training performance of staff members providing regular updates, metrics, results and escalated items to Managers. Follows up with hiring managers, on trainee status within the first 30, 60 and 90 days of hire. Provides on-site and Client home observations of Behavioral Interventionists.

Provides specific feedback to trainees throughout the training process on their performance documenting status and providing direction on next steps as outlined by ESBA and BACB guidelines and gives recommendations for staff development needs to Supervisors/Managers

Reports the need for additional didactic training for specific areas for RBT and other clinical staff. If employee does not successfully complete the training/certification, must escalate within 24 hours to Manager.

Documents observations of performance in the field and provides input to People & Performance department utilized for developing and updating career development/ training content, materials, job aids, and procedures.

Assists in the creation of training tools and materials under the supervision of direct manager and department heads.

Coordinates with managers/directors to ensure training is provided to all assigned regions as needed.

Other Requirements

Three years of experience implementing Applied Behavioral Analysis services, preferably with people with ASD

Two or more years' experience providing staff direction and development in a supervisory role.

8 hour BACB supervision course completed to qualify to complete RBT/BCaBA/BCBA supervision.
