Stars Therapy Services is seeking a Regional Director of ABA Therapy with a strong clinical perspective and current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. This position will work throughout Santa Clara County.
Responsibilities and Duties:
-Oversee and manage the therapeutic needs of the region’s/division’s clients providing a multitude of services.
-Oversee therapists and consult on performance, monitoring program progress, acting as liaison for child programs.
-Manage operations within the region or area in regards to all aspects of clients’ programs and therapists.
-Act as liaison between Therapist and Family.
-Directly supervise employees in the Behavioral Management Department in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
-Make program recommendations.
-May need to provide billable services as a BCBA/BCaBA in the division as caseload increases or decreases, covering vacation or unforeseen clinical vacancies.
-Use independent judgment and expertise in Child Development, Applied Behavior Analysis, and Autism by performing the following:
-Regular observations (probe targets/programs as necessary) of children in home, therapy, school, and other related service settings, and collaborate with the child's teacher, classroom aides, and other service providers to create a successful and consistent program for the child's overall development.
-Provide initial assessment.
-Develop/revise/update child's programs as needed.
-Assess mastery of individual skills and/or targets.
-Troubleshoot current drills that are not progressing or are experiencing difficulties.
-Monitor child's progress regularly utilizing a team approach.

-BCBA - Master's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in applied behavior analysis, psychology, Speech-Language Pathology, early childhood education/development, or related field
-Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience with ASD children and/or other related developmental disabilities
-Professional certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
-Valid California driver’s license and clean driving record
-Reliable transportation is necessary for this position
-Proof of current car insurance
-Ability to obtain background clearance
-Demonstrate ability to supervise and train effectively
-Demonstrate knowledge of DTT, NET, PRT, PECS, and other ABA methodologies and strategies
-Demonstrate good judgment, decision-making, and communication skills
-Exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality
-Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
